See you all soon!
Good Morning!
Can't wait to get together with all of your girls soon for Jane's Bridal Shower & Birthday Brunch this Sunday.
The plan is for brunching on some delicious local food provided by Nathan Lindley who's kindly agreed to provide vegetarian friendly options (click here for Sunday's Menu), maybe a little slide-show & gifts, and just generally enjoying each other's company on a beautiful day.
Have a great end of the week and see you all on Sunday!
Love,
Anne

Bridal Shower Location!
Hi girls,
Long time!
Sally has been hard at work narrowing down our bridal shower venues, and after a dinner pow-wow yesterday we decided on Public House in Chatanooga. " The Public House menu plays to the comforts of good, solid food, while applying the principles of premium food products to a more casual setting.."
This morning I called Public House and the owner Nathan Lindley answered- he we so cordial and accommodating, answering all my questions and more. I'm so excited to host Jane's bridal shower here!
They have a private dining area (either the Oak room if under 10 girls, or the larger private area if over 10) for our bridal party -at no extra charge.
Upon hearing that many of the girls were vegan & vegetarian, Nathan offered to create a custom veg-friendly menu just for our bridal party (complimentary!).
He's emailing me a sample menu right now, but he mentioned quinoa pilaf, portobello & goat cheese mini sandwhiches, and more deliciousness- if you have a menu suggestion please post it in the comments!
The menu would be split family style between all the girls and would only be a total of $12-13/person! This conversation made me want to move to Chatanooga :), That is service!
I'll be sending out the invitations via Paperless Post shortly with the specifics, but in the meantime please feel free to send along the other items I requested when you have a free moment :).
Thank you!

words of guidance and wisdom
Just read this morning and had to post it! it's perfect as I'm apt to get carried away by the flurry of ideas and plans we have had. Ellen White states in The Adventist Home, pg 49,

Hi Jane,
Thank you so much for contacting me! Absolutely!, I can hold cooking classes for you and 10 or so attendees. May the 22nd would work for me as well, and I can certainly teach you some gluten free vegan dishes! The classes would be held in your (or another attendees) kitchen.
Let me know more details and we can go from there!
Thanks Jane, I look forward to speaking with you soon!

Shoes!
Shoes are up to the bridesmaid to choose. Jane requests only that the colors be a pale gold or other warm metal tone to complement the color scheme.
Here are some examples of sandals, peep toes & pumps...
Flats, kitten heels, high-heels...
...wear what you have if it works & above all be comfy standing in them :)
Colors & Dress: Celadon, Peachy Pink & Crisp White!
Hurray our dress style & colors have finally been decided on, and they are beautiful :)!
Since Jane has decided on the Celadon Green Bridesmaid's Dresses in the first style from this post.
Maybe showing Bonnie (dressmaker) these images of celadon green (not the style of course), will ensure the right color match:
Also it's made of silk taffetta, So it's a natural fabric & breathable in the summer heat :). Hurray for no scratchy acrylics or sticky satins!

Vegan and Gluten-free cooking/baking class?
I'm going to also see about classes in Chattanooga to see if there is something closer.

Over the 8 months, it has been challenging as well as rewarding to experiment with Gluten-free cooking.
So it would be neat to have someone teach me...especially on how to bake gluten free bread! it's such a challenge and it always comes out hard. :/
Holly is located in TN--> closer than Atlanta... Also, I know of a friend, Allison, the Dalton SDA church pastor's wife cooks gluten/soy/dairy free for her family on a daily basis. Maybe I can ask her for class? She recently recommended these books to me but I haven't tried them out yet. I'm still working on some really nice ones that Amy gave me.
